Dave is a Member of, and Instructor for, the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, passing his advanced Instructor in 2003.
 
He is a Gold level examiner, an examiner-assessor and course manager, for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, and is regularly invited to give talks and demonstrations on many dog training subjects at Crufts, Discover Dogs and other doggie events around the country.

Dave is passionate about dogs and about his work with dogs
he is on the Working Trials Committee for the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain.
 
Dave has been running training classes and individual lessons at all levels for many years, and is often called in to advise on "difficult" dogs,
 
Dave's late Weimaraner, Bruce, worked and competed up to Working Dog (WD) level. Gold Level Good Citizen Award, and now Boz, at two will eventually work towards the same.
